Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all services offered by glitzwaveku through its website. The services include professional video operations, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy governs payments made for these services whether they are provided on a one-off basis or under ongoing arrangements. It does not cover any third-party services that may be accessed through links on the site or any physical goods.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated. Prices include applicable Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate. Additional charges may apply for overtime work, rush requests, equipment hire beyond the standard package, or travel outside the agreed area. Customers will be notified of any such charges before they are incurred. Prices are subject to change but any increase will not affect existing confirmed bookings.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

glitzwaveku accepts payment by major credit and debit cards, bank transfer and other secure electronic methods displayed at checkout. All card payments are processed through PCI DSS compliant providers. Payment authorisation occurs at the time of booking and funds are held until the service is confirmed. glitzwaveku does not store full card details on its systems.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed when glitzwaveku sends written confirmation of the booking following receipt of payment or a valid purchase order. Until that confirmation is issued no contract exists and either party may withdraw without liability. Confirmation will be sent by email to the address provided by the customer.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations customers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation during which they may cancel without reason. For services that have already begun or been fully performed this right is lost. Professional media feed services often require advance preparation so early cancellation is advised. Cancellations must be made in writing.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available for cancellations made within the cooling-off period or where glitzwaveku is unable to perform the service due to circumstances within its control. No refund is due where cancellation occurs after work has commenced, where the customer fails to provide necessary access or information, or for services already delivered. Deposits paid to secure specific dates are generally non-refundable.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund the customer must email [email protected] with the booking reference, date of service, amount paid and reason for the request. Supporting documents such as bank statements may be required. Requests should be made as soon as possible after the issue arises. glitzwaveku will acknowledge receipt within five working days.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of Decisions

Each refund request is reviewed individually. glitzwaveku will assess whether the request meets the criteria set out in this policy. Customers will be notified of the outcome by email within 14 days of receipt of all required information. If rejected the reasons will be explained and any alternative options offered.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method wherever possible. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval although bank transfers may take longer depending on the recipient bank. Customers should allow up to 30 days for funds to appear in their account.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers

Where services include digital deliverables such as recorded feeds or live streams the right to cancel is lost once the content has been made available. Subscription arrangements may be cancelled at the end of the current billing period. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms and may be non-refundable once redeemed.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments will result in the booking being placed on hold until resolved. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded promptly once verified. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may lead to suspension of service. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and accounts may be frozen pending investigation.

Mandatory Consumer Rights That Cannot Be Excluded

Nothing in this policy affects the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations or UK data protection law. In particular services must be performed with reasonable care and skill and within a reasonable time. Any attempt to exclude these rights is void.
